Victim reported that she was potentially scammed; she received a call from a male that identified himself as Frank Williams (id #1284) from Amazon Customer Service. The male stated that he was calling to confirm some type of pre- approved purchase for $1535.37. She only confirmed with the male that she does bank at Wells Fargo but did not give out any account information. The victim stated that she does not buy anything through Amazon and does not know why they would have called her. I advised her to contact her bank and talk to them about recent account activity to see if anything was attempted.
