It was Wednesday afternoon when the driver of a stolen silver hatchback decided he wanted nothing to do with a traffic stop initiated by Roseville police officers. So, he put the car in gear, put the pedal to the medal and took off — but not before ramming the squad, slamming into several parked cars and busting through a concrete barrier.
Off he went, recklessly riding on rims, the car's front end badly beaten. East on B2, north on Snelling. Then through Arden Hills and over to Shoreview before winding up on Owasso.
That's when our deputy moved in for a PIT. The first one didn't take, so he tried again.
