Computer pop-ups don’t click on them

Turn off remote access on your computer. Run an antivirus. And when someone says don’t contact your bank, CONTACT YOUR BANK!

A reporting party stated she received a series of pop-ups on her computer saying that she was hacked. She ended up clicking on one of the pop ups and was called by 2 individuals. She stated she talked to a Markus Hall [201]588+6263 and a Noah Hairton [646]992+4887 on the phone. She stated that those 2 individuals told her that $15,500 was stolen from her bank account and not to contact her bank. The 2 individuals wanted her to get gift cards to pay for a transaction fee to get the money back. She stated she hung up the phone on them and called her bank. Her bank stated that no money was taken, and they can freeze her account. Her bank instead closed and created a new account to move the funds into.
